Once every fifty years, at the end of seven cycles of seven years, Israel was called upon to rest from their work and restore all property to the original owners.
This was to remind them that they all were but stewards of God’s land and beneficiaries of His grace. You can read the story in Leviticus 25.
In that spirit and after another forty-nine Blue Box entries, let’s take this day to reflect upon His blessings in keeping us safe and sane during one of the strangest times in our history.
Let’s count our blessings, shall we, and reaffirm our trust in the One who loves us and does all things well.
“Father, we thank you for your grace and love to us in Christ Jesus. Help us glorify you this day in His name. Amen.”
