The God of your greatest imaginations is the God who is.

I praise You for your deep and unshakeable love, from which we cannot be separated.

I praise You for your humility, that You would leave your throne and come and dwell as a servant with us.

I praise You for your sacrificial heart, that You would endure the cross and scorn it’s shame for the joy set before You.

I praise You for your holiness, that in You there is no darkness and that You summon us to be holy because You are holy.

I praise You for your wisdom, which You freely share with those who seek You.

I praise You for your provision, that You value us above all creation and give to us what is best.

I praise You for your justice, for You will not be mocked and You will bring all things into account, and justify or condemn

in accordance to your word.

I praise You for your justification, for there is no condemnation for those that are in Christ Jesus.

I praise You for your strength, that you so freely share that we may rise up on the wings of eagles.

I praise You for your sovereignty, that your thoughts are not our thoughts and your ways are not our ways, and that You

are over all things and that Your will is and will be accomplished.

I praise You for your fellowship, that you are so mindful of man, and have adopted us into your family.

I praise You for your mercy and grace, for who could stand without them…..

Beloved, when you were children you probably had all sorts of thoughts about God and who you imagined Him to be. Even your wildest imaginations could never come close to who He is. If you strived all your days to come up with who a perfect God might be, could you do any better than the God that is described in the bible? No you could not. And that is no coincidence, for He is perfect.
